1. Does the medication or vitamins mix with the liquid when using InfantMed?
No, because you squirt the medicine into the point of the nipple just
before the baby swallows, the baby swallows the medicine immediately
following with a mouth full of the liquid.
2. Why not just mix the medicine into your baby's bottle?
If you mix it, your baby is more likely to taste the medicine and
if baby doesn't drink 100% of the liquid, all the medicine will not have been
administered to your baby.
3. When is the best time to give medication to my baby?
You should use the medication only as prescribed by you medical practitioner
4. Are there any special cleaning instructions for InfantMed?
Just wash in warm, soapy water with bottle brush, rinse well and
sterilize either in microwave (NOT syringe) or in liquid. Wash and
rinse syringe and sterilize in liquid.
5. Which liquids can be used in InfantMed?
Liquids like tea, milk or juice. Whichever your baby prefers.
6. Should I consult my medical practitioner before using InfantMed?
It is only necessary to consult your medical practitioner before mixing
medication with certain liquids. Use the medicine ONLY as prescribed
by your medical practitioner.
7. At what age can my baby use InfantMed?
InfantMed can be used from birth to 24 months.
